Description Extra cranial complications defininitely worsen outcome in the patients after severe brain injury. The one from many reasons could be immune system disorders. It has been detected a signifficant decrease of helprer cells (CD4+) and cytotoxic/supresor cells (CD8+)levels. Humoral parameters changes followed the occurrence of extra cranial complications. Patients with immune system disorders suffered more from extra cranial inflammatory complications. Bigger immune system disorders have been detected in the group of patients with lower GCS after admission.
