Description Oesophageal achalasia is a rare discorder. For patients si good ocerall condition, surgical management-myotomy-is one of the treatment options. This study describes the technique of laparoscopic myotomy sured by partial antireflux cuff, 35 patients were operated. Only in 3 cases, further follow up was required for dysphagia. None of the patients, required re-operation. No serious preoperative or postoperative complications were recorded. Importance of peroperative oesophagogastroscopy in assessment of adequate extent of myotomy and in excluding perforations of the oesophageal mucosa is put forward.
