Description This article deals with financial management of the company as the main part of entrepreneurial management. As next point it deals with narrow relationship of financial management with accounting, accounting methods and its expository ability. The financial management is one of the basic parts of the business management and recently it is considered as a main part of the business management. The financial management and decision making uses a lot of aggregated indicators whose interpretive value is very influenced by valuation (especially by valuation of assets, liabilities, costs and revenues). The objectivity of valuation and the chosen valuation methods influence the financial position of the enterprise, economic result and overall financial analysis. The objective of valuation is to evaluate the impacts of transactions and other events done during certain period on the financial position, efficiency and cash – flows of the enterprise.
