• Description: Climate Atlas of Czechia contains more than 300 maps accompanied by graphs, photographs and explaining text both in Czech and English. Most of the maps were constructed for the period 1961-2000. The complete database of main climate elements was created, areal check of data and methods of time-series reconstruction were performed for temperature, precipitation, snow, humidity, sunshine duration, cloudiness, air pressure, wind, phenological data and dangerous atmospheric phenomena. Individual methods for the areal element analysis were developed. The climate element maps were created in digital form. The long-term overview is completed by special weather cases such as flood situations occurred in last ten years.
