| Description | Upon the entry of the Czech Republic into the European Union the Czech legal order had to include EC directives about Natura 2000. On this base amended Law No. 114/1992 Coll., on the protection of nature and the landscape, was modified and the changes brought in consequence many questions. One of the aims of amended Law on the protection of nature and the landscape is the protection of Sites of Community Importance and Bird areas (which together constitute Natura 2000 in the Czech Republic). One of the activities which is able to affect these areas is land arrangement. Law regulation of land arrangement enables cooperation between Nature conservation authority and Land office. Cooperation between them allows to exclude the negative affect on these areas. |
