| Description | The purpose of the Conference was to make a general view of the research process on Baltic languages and literatures of the ancient stage (from the hypothetical proto-language to the18th century) and not only to discuss important research results on Baltic linguistics and literary theory, but especially to encourage the discussion of changes in Baltic studies methodology. The task was to confront and compare not single topics, but various analyses and interpretation methods of the same matters. The participants not only presented their research results, but also defined analytical methods they used to formulate their conclusions. |
