| Description | The conference was a forum for an interdisciplinary discussion the aim of which was to present the work and life of Fridrich Bridelius, a famous Czech baroque writer and composer. Bridelius s work was analyzed in the perspective of the development of Czech culture after the battle of Bílá hora. The conference papers were focused on varied issues, for example on the history of Czech (and Slovak) literature and music, including their tradition in the Czech folklore, on the development of Czech Baroque language and on modern ways of publishing Early Modern Czech texts (especially hymn-books). |
