| Description | Style in a text and situation of language in a particular period The contribution deals with the mutual relationship between stratified language on the one hand and style in language of texts created within a particular period on the other hand. This relationship is mutual: every author is limited by situation of the language in a particular period and these limitations are impulses for further development of the language. The authors are thus forced to coin new expressions (with regard to the topic of the text, orientation, situation, expected perception etc.), to modify existing syntactic constructions and means of composition, using possibilities of grammar. No regulations apply only in the sphere of spontaneous communication and also in fiction, whose norms have become immensely diversified. The existing stratification of language is reflected in stylistic norms, but simultaneously in the process of creating texts the stratification is used somewhat beyond the existing framer, thus modifying itself. The complex of varieties of language is consequently explored and described on the basis of the texts created. |
