Description Regarding regional groundwater flow numerical model is prepearing, groundwater recharge determination is crucial. Groundwater recharge was estimated in variously large watersheds from streamflow records with the RORA, PULSE, PART computer programs and from spring records with Maillet formula. Results show relation between recharge and watersheds extent. It refers significant influence of hydraulic heterogeneities in local scale. Groundwater recharge is influenced also by groundwater drainage altitude. The highest recharge was determined at two large watersheds draining both deep and local groundwater flow. In contrary, the lowest recharge was determined at two small high-altitude watersheds, draining only local groundwater flow. Eleven-year period of data records used to recharge determination points to the long-term descending recharge trend.
