Description The thesis analyses possibilities of education and vocational training by visually impaired persons. It emphasizes the need of early support of competencies during the education in special and mainstream schools. The research showed the problematic areas of competencies of visually impaired pupils and students and there were formed the conclusions for support of competencies within effective classroom practices.
