Description Imaginative Spaces: Canada in the European Mind, Europe in the Canadian Mind brings together selected papers delivered by Canadianists (most of them from Central Europe) at an international conference organized from 27–29 October 2006 in Debrecen, Hungary, by the Central European Association for Canadian Studies. Of the thirty articles, half are devoted to literary themes; the rest cover such areas as linguistics, cultural studies, art, history, political science, multiculturalism, religion, education and economics. The works are written in both English and French.
