| Description | Czech Republic, its population and the whole society have undergone in the last twenty years a number of structural and developmental changes of high importance. Not only the amount of changes is important, but in many respects, the dynamics of the development. Social transformation started major changes in family and reproductive behaviour. These and many other issues of recent sociodemographic development, specific changes, their causes and consequences, and prospects of this development are addressed at the 40th Annual Conference of the Czech Demographic Society planned to be held on the 27th and 28th of May 2010 at the Faculty of Social Studies Masaryk University in Brno. |
