Description The paper reflects the changes of the term of so-called New Europe in the period of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia. Regulating and controlling Czech printed media, the occupation and protectorate institutions advanced the concept in order to present the future of Europe under the Nazi power. The aim of the paper is to analyse the connections between the instructions imposed by protectorate censorship bodies and the media under control, in which the relation between the power and media is reflected. In this respect, media were conceived as a driving force when presenting the future, deprived of any alternatives in the Nazi context. The media under control are thus pushed to construct the concept of so-called New Europe.
