| Description | This workshop dealt with the basic theory of corpus linguistics as a new method of language analysis and the possibilities of using corpora in a foreign language teaching. The participants learned about the most important corpora relevant to teaching German as a foreign and second language (DeReKo, InterCorp). They also got acquainted with several corpus tools so that they could present a small corpus-based research and work out a set of exercises in a follow-up workshop. |
