| Description | Systematic expatriation of the Serbian and Montenegrin colonists at the Kosovo and Metohija territory, thru which the Yugoslavian state wished to reverse the ethnic situation in this region, being occupied by Albanians predominantly during the interwar period, as well as destinies of these colonists during the WWII and after the war, all this excite inconsistent reactions. This issue used to become also subject of impassioned political discussions and often sectarian discourses. Subjected article attempts, based on research of sources and studying of large literature, to describe impartially as much as possible, the course of the colonization, its limits and destiny of colonists, using which the communist power tried to chill out the situation in Kosovo and Metohija after the WWII. Article is also focused to interwar trials to resolve the situation within the region thru expatriation the Muslim Albanian ethnic into the Turkey. |
