| Description | Unit 1 is focused on pain and shortness of age, which are important in the differential diagnosis of many diseases of old age and are very common. Dyspnea is a subjective shortness of breath accompanied by increased respiratory effort and accompanying diseases as respiratory and cardiovascular system, occurs in anemia, metabolic disorders. Unit 2 lectures will present issues of pain and its treatment in old age, specificity, and differential diagnosis. Psychogenic pain becomes more important in old age than in younger ones. Treatment of pain in the elderly involves a combination of pharmacological and nonpharmacological methods. 3rd block deals with chronic pain and its impact on nutritional status. The most frequent diseases of old age include degenerative diseases of the locomotor system and inflammatory diseases. For seniors, we meet the associated etiological dyspnoickým ensemble defined multimorbiditou. |
