| Description | The purpose of the lecture was to deal with the status of particles in Byzantine grammatical treatises and with their categorization within word class system where the class of particles remains incorporated in the eighth word class of conjunctions. It was also illustrated how the interfacial status of this category influenced its indefinite and vague categorization in modern linguistics. |
