Description This article is reaction on the text of Jakub Jinek and Alois Kristan from the previous edition of this magazine (2/2011). The aim of this article is answer the question: “How to teach ethics in the social work?” and also argue some problematic parts of application social theories. At the beginning we think about the character of social work as an eclectic discipline. Further we deal with the critic of the authors above and then we talk about the way how to teach ethics in the social work. In this article we try to show that teaching ethics should be based on the needs of social work discipline.
