| Description | The study is dedicated to reflection of informatics, information technologies (IT), within humanities and social studies with special attention to media studies transformation into the new media studies, media archeology or media genealogy. The text introduces foundations, the subject of research, and methodology of new discipline – Software studies. The author sees the Software studies as effective bases for investigation of software as cultural product as well as for employment of software for “cultural analyzes” - the investigation of cultural production within new media. |
