Description The article presents the author's research team, in which it was investigated the effect of application of two different types of stretching (dynamic and static) to the reflective abilities of athletes (n = 16). The test set consisted of men and women - athletes. We assumed that after static stretching in warm-up phase, the values of monitored parameters is lower than after application of dynamic stretching. The results of the survey showed (t-test and effect size, statistical significance level of 0.05) for test set no significant difference between the values of vertical jump performance in the application of static and dynamic stretching. For a long jump from test sites have been identified small significance (Cohen's d). But we would argue that it is appropriate to prefer exercises of dynamic stretching before exercises of static stretching.
