| Description | The article deals with the sexuality of seniors from the perspective of the elderly living in old people’s homes, and paramedical health workers. It measures mainly the relevance of sexuality, and attempts to define the problematic points in the care of the elderly, in relation to ensuring the basic necessities of life such as human sexuality. It also discovers the most important determining factors that influence the view of elderly people and professional caring personnel as regards the importance of the issue of the sexual life of seniors living in old people’s homes. It also focuses on communication between the elderly and carers, regarding the intimate life of seniors. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and compare the results collated from targeted explorative surveys, completed by the above two parties. |
