| Description | The main premises of the book relate to two theses developed within the current discourse on family. On the one hand we find reflections on the crisis of family and marriage and on the other the formation of other (alternative) forms of relationships and parenthood. The families of gays and lesbian women are often mentioned as examples or a prototype of such alternative models. The publication aims to empirically and conceptually map areas that have been largely ignored in Czech sociology. Using empirical data gathered in ethnographic research in lesbian families the author develops existing discourses on relationships and family. In empirical terms the publicationt is based mainly on qualitative empirical research in lesbian families. |
