| Description | The paper introduces the topic of the so-called compressive sampling (compressed sensing) which is one of the most important applications of sparse signal representation. This contribution directly follows up with the previous paper by the same authors entitled "Sparse signal representations: introduction to the topic". Theoretical foundations are outlined and accompanied with several numerical examples. |
