| Description | The authors provide an overview of spine tumours, including patient complaints, laboratory and radiological methods. The indications of surgery are an imminent or progressing neurological deficit, imminent or present spine collapse or instability. The goal of the surgery is neural structure decompression and reconstruction of spine alignment and stability. The type of surgery is indicated with a view to the tumour extent and localization and the patient s age and condition. In their surgeries, the authors use anterior, posterior or combined approach. |
