| Description | The aim of the methodology is operacionalization of the process of functional regions identification and delimitation based on relational data. The methodology is primarily focused on travel-to-work-areas delimitation, however it can be also applied in many other territorial scales and contexts - e.g. to identify migration self-contained regions or travel-to-school-areas. The methodology enables to make regionalization based on any kind of relational data (quantifying the strength/intensity of relation between two territorial units). Using optional parameters it is possible to modify size and number of identified regions. |
