In what case can I apply for an exemption to enrol in the next semester?
If you do not meet the requirement for advancement to the next semester, you may submit a request for an exception to the Faculty International Office or Office for Studies (depends on the faculty). Approval depends on the reasons given and documented. You must always provide proper documentation for health and other reasons and, above all, submit your request in good time.
If you do not give a valid reason, you will not be granted an exemption. General medical certificates, caring for a family member, moving house, financial hardship or family problems will not be considered ex post. Obstacles to your studies of this type must be dealt with when they arise, i.e. immediately, not after the end of term.
