IS MU

All activities related to studies are carried out at Masaryk University via the Information System (IS MU).

Through IS you can electronically register and enrol in courses not only from your field of study but you can also extend your studies with courses from other faculties and fields of study. After your initial enrolment, you no longer need to go to the study department, look at notice boards or make enquiries. All information can be found in the IS MU. You can create a timetable (choose seminar groups) directly in IS, have study materials for courses, register for exams, find out the grades of written work and much more.

You also have your own university e-mail address through which you can communicate with your teachers and classmates.

For more information, see IS Help.

Press services

Using multifunctional printing devices, students can print, copy and scan in all university study rooms. All devices are self-service and payment for printing services is made through the user's own SUPO account.

Remote Access VPN

Some IT services are available only from the MU university network. If you need to access these resources from elsewhere, for example from the comfort of your home or from abroad, you can use the university's virtual private network VPN.

Electronic information resources

The University offers a wide range of online resources, including databases offering access to scholarly articles, e-books and journals.

You can also access commercial information resources for which MU has paid an access fee. You can find an overview of the resources of this service at eresources.muni.cz, and you can search them all in one place using discovery.muni.cz.
