Unsuccessful completion of studies

The studies are duly completed by successful completion of the relevant programme, i.e. by passing the state final examination, the state rigorosum examination or the state doctoral examination and by defending the dissertation. Any other method of of leaving the university is unsuccessful and does not lead to a degree.

Studies may be terminated early by the student or by the University.
