When do I lose my student status?

You are no longer a student:

  • after the date of successful completion of the last part of the state final examination,
  • on terminating your studies because you do not meet the conditions for continuing your studies – for example, because you do not have enough credits to register for the next semester,
  • by notifying the faculty in writing that you are withdrawing from the studies,
  • by expulsion from studies – for example, for fraudulent behaviour and other disciplinary offences,
  • when you interrupt your studies.
