- Short Bio
- Dr. Bacem Mbarek, Ph.D. is a Senior Researcher at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. In 2017, he received his Ph.D. degree from the National Engineering School of Tunis, Tunisia. He was an Assistant Researcher at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), in 2017-2018. He has been a Visiting Researcher at the University of Bordeaux (2014-2015). His main research interest is in the area of Blockchain, Network security, and IoT. He is involved in different European and International projects, as well as, standardization efforts. He published several scientific papers in high ranked conferences and journals in his field of research. He served on many program and organization committees of International conferences and workshops.
