CIVIC - Combating Information Vulnerability and Inequality through Communication

The project has four primary objectives:
1. To map the current strategies and practices employed by governments and state institutions to navigate digital transformation, with a specific focus on the rapid advancement of GAI and the associated proliferation of false and misleading information (mis- and disinformation).
2. To examine the challenges institutions face in reducing information inequality and fostering information inclusion across diverse citizen groups.
3. To analyze institutional communication strategies related to climate change and natural disasters, and resource transformation within the context of the ongoing infodemic.
4. To establish a broader consortium for the preparation of a Horizon Europe research proposal that could also include other EDUC university members.
