| Popis | This article is devoted to the phenomenon of fear, understanding its place in the development of civilization and culture and revaluating its meaning in different historical stages. In the course of time the source of fear was shifted from the outside world to the consciousness and subconsciousness. In some moments of history the fear was very valuable ("Holy fear"), then in other moments it was regarded sharply negative. The article presents an overall picture of this issue in a diachronic perspective |
