Popis Author of chapter dedicated to jurisdictional immunity of international organizations is concerned with the almost unlimited immunity enjoyed by international organizations in a host state that allows these organizations to be excluded from the jurisdiction of the host state’s courts as well as other state organs. He questions whether this immunity should not be restricted, especially in context of an individual’s right of access to a court. After considering the reasons for the immunity and the current prevailing practice, he makes a strong recommendation on how jurisdictional immunity could be restricted.
