| Popis | My concern will be the political and philosophical implications, which were brought to attention by Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor in his book A secular age. My objections will be concerning ideology of islamism and post-islamism. Specifically, I will focus on the claim that social imaginary of the Muslim world is in clear contrast with social imaginary of contemporary secular age. I would like to show that certain ideas of the authors, who could be considered as islamists and post-islamists, are in great deal a part of secular age as Charles Taylor describes it in his publication. |
