| Popis | Jean Monnet once said that Europe will be forged in crises and will be the sum of the solutions adopted to solve them. There are so many current crises in Europe that the word has ceased to make an impression on anyone. There is a lot of discussion about Europe in the context of current crises, but most of the analyzes are either quite narrow and limited to the chosen dimension or type of phenomena, or it is so descriptive that despite being able to say what is happening on the continent, they are unable to explain the processes taking place. 'Festung Europa' raises questions about the causes and, more importantly, explains how the various elements of this multifaceted European crisis are mutually interrelated. Among the discussed problems there are migration, terrorism, the crisis of representative democracy, atrophy of the EU, totalitarianism of new ideologies and radicalization of societies. |
