| Popis | A comparative linguistic analysis of the poem “The Look of Death” by O. Brezzhin and his Russian and German translations in a perceptual aspect is presented. Transformations are analyzed, which reflect, firstly, the variability of the language representation of the perceptual picture of the original world in translation, and, secondly, the individual features of its interpretation by translators, due to aesthetic and linguistic factors. Shifts in the system of perceptual images of the original in translations that affect the understanding of the main idea of the work are determined.
