Thanks to the political and trading contracts, the town livelily communicated with near neighbours as well as with Brno and Vienna customers buying the local renowned products. This trend was enabled mainly by the gradual emanicipation of the local tradesmen, both smaller and big ones. Miroslav as the second largest town of the Moravský Krumlov district was become a natural centre fot the close neighbourhood. The fact that there wereboth Jewish and Evangelic independent communities proves Miroslav´s importance. The nearly village of Pemdorf became a part of Miroslav´Christian community in 1899 as well as Václavov in 1907.
