| Popis | Taking a fresh look at the long-debated, puzzling relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Financial Performance (CFP), our research focuses on its temporal dimension. Utilizing two distinct research studiesa longitudinal analysis of U.S. firms from 2000-2014 and a meta-analysis of previous studies-we provide compelling evidence that this relationship evolves over time. Specifically, our findings show an upward trend, indicating that CSR has become increasingly beneficial for financial performance. We also identify a situational component, revealing that the CSR-CFP relationship experiences fluctuations based on external contextual factors. |
