| Popis | The present article has attempted to create a comprehensive and representative picture of the development of European cranial morphology from the Upper Paleolithic up to the turn of the Late Eneolithic/Bronze Age, which is a work that was last carried out more than three decades ago. One of the main priorities was to bring this topic closer to the layman, which naturally required the most illustrative presentation of the results and their placement in the context of popular anthropological terminology. Another important goal was to compare the development of the European cranial form with the findings of recent paleogenetic research, which has not yet been done to such a large extent. |
