| Popis | The LangSkills Conference was an opportunity to meet, discuss and exchange experiences of professionals and all those interested in the field of language education and internationalisation of deaf and hard of hearing learners. It was also a space to disseminate the results of the LangSkills II project. The presenters at the conference came from a variety of professional backgrounds within the field of Deaf studies and related disciplines, including teachers, researchers, speech-to-text reporters, sign language interpreters, and representatives of DHH associations. There were five sections: 1. Poster session; 2. Learners' reflections section; 3. Essential areas of focus for language policies on Czech Sign Language section; 4. Bridging communication divides; 5. Ideas and inspirations for EFL classroom. The conference was held as a concluding event of the EU-funded project LangSkills II (2021-1-CZ01-KA220-HED-000023473). |
