| Popis | This study offers a contrastive analysis of English verb borrowings in a trilingual rap corpus (French, Polish, Czech). Based on 300 texts selected from the most-streamed 2024 albums in France, Poland and Czechia, the research highlights the morphological, phonetic, syntactic, and semantic adaptation processes of English verbs. Findings reveal language-specific assimilation strategies, reflecting patterns of linguistic hybridization influenced by the global impact of anglophone hip-hop culture. |
