| Popis | The lecture will present the use of a wearable sensor for the continuous measurement of lactate and glucose concentration in sweat. An electrochemical biosensor was tested on ten participants during graded exercise on a treadmill or stationary bike ergometer. A correlation was observed between the physiological parameters of the test subjects and the speed of signal detection onset. Test subjects with higher values of total body water and muscle mass exhibited a shorter time to signal detection onset than those with lower values. The conclusions of this study point to the need for further development and suggest expanding future studies to include a broader range of factors. |
