Popis This lecture explores how sustainable tourism can become an active ally in the conservation of rare salt marsh habitats. Unlike many fragile ecosystems, salt marshes can benefit from moderate trampling, which helps maintain open patches and supports specialised plant and animal species. Well-designed visitor access can therefore combine ecological management with public education and local engagement. Using the LIFE in Salt Marshes project as an example, the presentation shows how restoration, awareness-raising and responsible tourism can strengthen each other. The aim is to demonstrate that visitors are not only a pressure on nature, but can also become partners in its protection.
