| Popis | This article examines issues of transparency, professionalism, and legitimacy in the appointment process for the director of a public theatre through the case of the selection procedure for the leadership of Koper Theatre (Gledališče Koper Teatro Capodistria). The author analyzes the relationship between formal administrative requirements and the substantive evaluation of candidates, highlighting the absence of dialogue, public deliberation, and meaningful comparison of artistic and managerial visions.
