Popis Following the establishment of the Czech Republic in 1993, the country has generally been regarded as a safe environment for Jewish communities, supported by democratic development and minority protection policies, as well as consistently pro-Israeli orientations reflected in generally positive public attitudes toward Jews of Czech society. Nevertheless, antisemitic incidents continue to be reported annually, with their number appearing to increase over time. This chapter examines the main categories of antisemitism in the Czech Republic over the past three decades, analyzing their manifestations within the public sphere and their role in shaping broader dynamics of public discourse, and contemporary debates in the Czech Republic.
