What was included in the evaluation of MU research and its social impact according to the national methodology? The secretary of the evaluation panel Petr Kalíšek introduces the Masaryk University evaluation which has just been completed as part of the evaluation of all research universities in the Czech Republic. The process was designed in accordance with the 2017+ Methodology with the aid of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (“MEYS”) institutional support of research, and affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. It will be a page-turner.

Grant Results and Received Grants
TA CR - 5th public tender program ÉTA
On March 29, 2021, the results of the 5th public competition of the ÉTA program were published. A total of 533 project proposals were submitted, 524 project proposals were submitted for evaluation. A total of 59 project proposals are supported, 11 successful for MU. More info here.

- On March 10th, the Standard Call has been announced. The Call aims to support projects in basic research and is opened to applicants at any stage of their career.

- Pillar 3 - Innovative Europe
- The EIC Pathfinder Open call supports ambitious projects developing radically new technologies, ideally with the potential for future market applications. Expected TRL 1 - 4.
- The EIC Accelerator Challenges call is designed to support the rapid commercial application of innovative solutions and the growth of innovative companies (especially SMEs and start-ups).

- SMART ACCELERATOR JMK II - another call similar to the Assistance call is planned.
