INVITES APPLICATIONS

for two positions of

Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology

Extent of contract:        0.5 FTE (FTE is 40 hours a week)

Expected start:              1 September 2024

Application deadline:   19 May 2024

The position includes: 

• Teaching in B.A. and M.A. psychology programmes in Czech and English;
• supervision of the B.A. and M.A. theses;
• independent research;
• participation in all departmental activities.

Required qualifications and competencies:

• Master’s degree in Psychology;
• Ph.D. or its equivalent in psychology;
• professional competence in the areas of psychological diagnostics of adults and /or school and educational psychology, competence in other psychological areas and practical experience is also welcome (experience in education and /or healthcare is an advantage);
• relevant publications and qualification growth potential;
• experience in psychological research, including involvement in grants;
• university teaching experience and critical thinking;
• an ability to teach in English language.
