The understanding of the environmental consequences as the key for the global problems solving

Research Centre for Toxic Compounds in the Environment organizes the traditional one-day interactive course aimed for highschool students with interests in the global environmental problems. The course is focused on the global transport of the chemical compounds, the accumulation of pollutants within the food-pyramid, the contamination of the aquatic system, the toxic cyanobacterial water-blooms, the consequences of the pharmaceuticals in the aquatic ecosystem, the recyclation and the life cycle assessment. Laboratory exercises and the ecotoxicological biotests fulfill part of the course.
