Der Einfluss der Mehrsprachigkeit auf die Schreibkompetenz

The aim of the conference is to present the results of research on the process of writing in pupils whose native language is Czech (L1), and who learn German as another foreign language (L3) after English (L2). The conference focuses especially on research studies which consider the effects of the ability of learners to produce written text in L1 and L2 on writing in L3. Based on the assumption of the Common European Framework of Reference that types of texts are "universal" and not determined by the learners’ culture, it will be analyzed, what consequences can be derived from the results of research, not only for teaching German after English, but in general for the development of writing skills of individual learners. The conference is held in the scope of addressing the research project "Multilingualism in Czech Schools: Learning and Teaching German after English" (GAP407/11/0321).
