The Sixth Brno Conference on Linguistics Studies in English: Communication across Genres and Discourses
On 11th and 12th September 2014 Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, Brno, will organize the Sixth International Brno Conference on Linguistics Studies in English: Communication across Genres and Discourses,
the aim of which is to invite researchers and university teachers from the Czech Republic as well as from abroad to present and discuss their current research projects. The conference focuses on research in the fields of discourse analysis, stylistics, translation studies, pragmatics, genre analysis, hybrid types of discourse, and multi-media communication.
